I am an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) on Corporate Communication at the University of Amsterdam and researcher at the Amsterdam School of Communication Research (ASCoR). I obtained my PhD in 2015, also at ASCoR, with the dissertation “Brand content diffusion on Social Networking Sites: Exploring the triadic relationship between the brand, the individual, and the community”. Before joining the University of Amsterdam, I worked between 2005 and 2015 for Hewlett-Packard in Brazil and in the Netherlands. I held a variety of Program Management functions in the Web Support and Knowledge Management areas, and my last role was as Localisation Services Manager. In this role, I managed the teams and suppliers responsible for Translation, Localisation and Transcreation activities for Printing and Computing Support across the globe.
I also worked for five years in an online media company in Brazil (Terra Networks), working as a producer, reporter, editor and manager. I have completed a Research Master in Communication Science (MSc) in the University of Amsterdam, an MBA with specialisation in Marketing at ESPM-Brazil and a bachelor in Social Communication (Journalism) at USP-Brazil.
